Ninja ZX-10R gets upgrades for 2010
Designed to offer a high-level base package, with the stock engine and chassis performance to satisfy even the most experienced riders, the already potent Ninja ZX-10R receives some clever fine-tuning and a revised styling package for 2010.
The new front cowl now gives the Ninja ZX-10R an even stronger family resemblance to its smaller sibling, the Ninja ZX-6R. Above this, new inner fairing components provide a tidier look around the handlebar area. And adding to the effect of the minimalist bodywork, sharper new cowling side panels use a greater amount of black to accentuate just how compact the ZX-10R really is.
A new muffler design also contributes to a lighter look while the metallic grey paint a dimpled finish and a minimalist end cover add a touch of class while contributing to the muffler’s smaller appearance.
For 2010, the ZX-10R also receives a new-design Öhlins steering damper, and revisions to the transmission shift mechanism offering improved gear shifting.
Laden with technology tried and tested on Kawasaki racers, the Ninja ZX-10R simply shines on the track. Although designed to offer maximum rider excitement on the circuit, those same qualities that underpin its amazing track performance also make it full-on fun for sport riding on the street.
